THE PROBLEM
Lack of accessibility in restaurants in India is a result of ambiguous accessibility standards and low awareness around the needs of people with disabilities, leading to social exclusion which has bigger implications on overall well-being.

THE DESIGN INTERVENTION
Outbound is a service system in partnership with Zomato, that aims to improve the experience of restaurant customers, specifically crutches and wheelchair users in India. It creates a mutually beneficial relationship between businesses and people with disabilities by addressing physical and social barriers in the restaurants ultimately creating a network of inclusive restaurants.
